Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK, YCT)

Confucius Institute in Quebec is the center for Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and Youth Chinese Test (YCT).

HSK and YCT are the worldwide standardized tests for Chinese language proficiency. We hold HSK and YCT twice a year, spring and winter respectively. All levels of HSK tests (HSK1 ~HSK6) are internet based and YCT1 ~ YCT4 are paper tests on site at our center.

The registration for the test usually takes place in spring and fall online at www.chinesetest.cn.

Register by 12 p.m., Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at www.chinesetest.cn

Step 2

Pay for the test online here by 12 p.m., Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

NB: Only those who have registered and payed by the deadline will be allowed to take the exam.

• Computer-based HSK1-6 test is on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, and is open for registration until May 1st, 2024, at www.chinesetest.cn.
• The test will be at the Language Lab of Dawson College.
